Slug Plug

The Ryder Slug Plug is a compact tubeless puncture repair kit that handles most trail cuts and sidewall nicks without removing the wheel. AK Bikes stocks it at AED 30 — a small price for the ability to fix a flat on the Hatta trails or Lahbab desert without carrying a spare tube. The Slug Plug includes a reamer and plug strips; the whole repair takes under two minutes once you've done it once.

If you're running tubeless on a mountain or gravel bike in the UAE, a Slug Plug is standard trail kit. It handles punctures that sealant alone can't close — larger cuts from rocks, thorns, or glass on mixed-surface roads. Keep one in your jersey pocket or saddle bag. Plug refills are available separately when you run out.
