Bike Sales
- I declare that I am the sole owner of the bike being sold or have obtained explicit permission from the rightful owner to sell it.
- I assure that the bike is acquired from an authorized and authenticated dealership, confirming that it is not stolen property.
- I acknowledge that I have received a fair and agreed-upon price for selling the bike.
- The total negotiated amount has been received, and I confirm the completion of the transaction.
- I acknowledge that the ownership of the bike is transferred to the buyer, AK Bikes, upon receipt of the payment.
- AK Bikes is granted full authorization to sell, refurbish, or engage in other commercial activities involving the purchased bike.
- The buyer acknowledges that, once the transaction is complete, no claims, requests for a refund, or cancellation of the transaction will be entertained.
- The bike is sold in its current condition, and no warranties or guarantees are provided, expressed, or implied.
- The buyer has had the opportunity to inspect the bike thoroughly before finalizing the purchase and accepts it in its current condition.
- Both parties confirm compliance with all legal requirements related to the sale and transfer of ownership of the bike.
Bike Rental
- I acknowledge AK Bikes' temporary possession of my legal documents during the rental, with their return contingent on completing all financial obligations, including damages.
- The refund of the security deposit is subject to the bike's return in its original condition as stipulated at the rental's commencement.
- I willingly waive any claims against AK BIKES arising from the operation, use, or misuse of the provided bikes/products.
- I commit to fulfilling all financial obligations, covering rental fees and damages, and ensuring the equipment's return in good condition at the rental period's end.
- The renter acknowledges that, once the transaction is complete, no claims, requests for a refund, or cancellation of the transaction will be entertained.
- Timely bike return is affirmed, with awareness of potential charges for late returns.
- I undertake to promptly report any damages and acknowledge my responsibility to cover associated repair charges.
- An explicit commitment is made to refrain from engaging in prohibited activities, ensuring secure and responsible bike usage, particularly in safe weather conditions.
- In the unfortunate event of theft, I acknowledge full responsibility, being liable to pay the full price of the bike. AK BIKES assumes no liability for theft during the rental period.
- I fully understand and agree that AK BIKES assumes no liability for accidents, injuries, or death occurring during the entirety of the rental period.
Return/Refund
1. Return & Exchange Window
AK Bikes offers customers a limited window to request a return
or exchange under the conditions specified in this policy. All return and
exchange requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of
purchase. Requests made outside of this period will not be eligible for
consideration, and all sales beyond this window are considered final.
To initiate a return or exchange, customers must contact us
directly via the details provided at the end of this document and present proof
of purchase.
2. Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price will be
applied to all preference-based returns or exchanges. A “preference-based”
return or exchange refers to any situation in which the customer wishes to
return or exchange a product for personal reasons unrelated to a mechanical
defect or fault verified by AK Bikes, such as a change of mind, preference for
a different model, or similar discretionary reasons.
This fee reflects the costs associated with processing,
inspecting, and restocking the returned item. The restocking fee will be
deducted from any applicable store credit issued.
3. Product Condition Requirements
In order to be eligible for a return or exchange, the bicycle
must be returned in the same condition in which it was sold. AK Bikes will
conduct a thorough inspection of all returned items prior to approving any
request. The following conditions must be met:
• The bicycle must show no signs of crashes, collisions, or physical damage sustained after purchase.
• The bicycle must not have been
subjected to tampering, misuse, or negligence of any kind.
• No unauthorised modifications,
alterations, or part replacements may have been made to the bicycle.
• All original components must
remain intact and unaltered.
Failure to meet any of the above conditions will render the
return or exchange request ineligible, and the bicycle will be returned to the
customer as presented.
4. Exchange Terms
Where an exchange is approved within the 7-day window and the
bicycle meets the condition requirements outlined above, the following terms
apply:
• Like-for-Like or Upgrade Only: The
bicycle may be exchanged for another bicycle available in current stock of
equal or greater value. Exchanges for items of lesser value will not be
processed as cash refunds; any difference will be issued as store credit.
• Restocking Fee Applies: A
15% restocking fee will be deducted from the value of the original purchase
before any store credit or exchange value is calculated.
• Subject to Stock Availability: All
exchanges are subject to the availability of suitable replacement bicycles at
the time of the request.
5. Store Credit
Where applicable, AK Bikes may issue store credit in lieu of a
monetary refund. Please note the following regarding store credit:
• Store credit is valid for a period
of 30 days from the date of issuance.
• Store credit is non-transferable
and may only be used by the original purchaser.
• Store credit may be applied toward
any in-store purchase at AK Bikes.
• Unused store credit will not be
extended beyond the 30-day validity period under any circumstances.
6. Mechanical Guarantee
AK Bikes stands behind the quality of every bicycle we sell.
All bicycles are professionally serviced, tuned, and maintained to meet our
internal quality standards prior to being made available for sale. In
recognition of this commitment, we offer the following mechanical guarantee:
• Guarantee Period: A 30-day
mechanical guarantee is provided on all bicycles from the date of purchase,
covering verified mechanical defects that were pre-existing at the time of sale
and not caused by customer use, misuse, or post-purchase damage.
• What is Covered: Verified
mechanical faults that are determined by our technicians to be inherent to the
bicycle at the time of purchase.
• What is Included: Free
repair or rectification of verified mechanical faults carried out by our
in-house technical team, at no additional charge to the customer.
• What is Not Covered: Damage
resulting from crashes, improper use, neglect, unauthorised modifications, or
general wear and tear is excluded from this guarantee.
To raise a mechanical concern, customers must bring the
bicycle to our store for inspection within the 30-day guarantee period. AK
Bikes reserves the right to assess and determine whether any reported fault
qualifies under this guarantee.
7. As-Is Condition of Pre-Owned Bicycles
All bicycles sold by AK Bikes are pre-owned and sold in an
“as-is” condition, meaning each bicycle is accepted by the buyer in its current
state at the time of purchase. While we endeavour to ensure that all bicycles
are comprehensively serviced and maintained prior to sale, customers are
encouraged to conduct a thorough personal inspection of any bicycle before
committing to a purchase.
Our team is available to assist with any questions or to
provide a demonstration prior to purchase. We believe that an informed customer
is a satisfied customer.
8. Cancellation Policy
Once a purchase has been completed and payment has been
received, the transaction is considered final and binding. AK Bikes does not
accept cancellations after the point of sale. We strongly encourage all
customers to ensure they are fully satisfied with their selection prior to
completing their purchase.

10. Warranty Information
AK Bikes does not offer, provide, or facilitate any
manufacturer’s warranty on any bicycle, part, or accessory sold in our store.
As we operate exclusively as a pre-owned bicycle retailer and do not engage in
direct dealings with manufacturers or authorised distributors, no
manufacturer’s warranty of any kind is applicable to products purchased from AK
Bikes.
All bicycles are sold as pre-owned items on an as-is basis.
Customers are reminded that our 30-day Mechanical Guarantee (outlined in
Section 6) serves as the sole form of post-purchase assurance offered by AK
Bikes, and is strictly limited to verified mechanical defects as defined
therein. No other warranties, whether express or implied, are provided.
Shipping
1. Delivery Charges:
- For deliveries within Dubai, a flat fee of 199AED will be applied.
- Deliveries to other Emirates will incur a flat fee of 399AED.
